From fireworks to picnics to parties and more, here's how to celebrate the Fourth of July in San Diego for the perfect Independence Day.

The Fairmont Grand Del Mar greets guests this 4th of July with a weekend full of exciting festivities. Beginning on Wednesday, the 3rd, children and families can join in on archery, bracelet making, horse feeding, pickleball clinics and more, plus a live performance by the Ellis Brant Trio at Grand Social on the 4th.
Perhaps the most iconic fireworks show in all of San Diego, the Big Bay Boom is one you won’t want to miss. At 9 p.m., the city sky becomes an array of sparkling colors that can be seen everywhere from the Marina District to Shelter Island and even from a boat.

This 4th of July, bring five of your closest family members or friends and choose from four ways to sail on a private charter.
