This March, The St. Baldrick’s Foundation San Diego Chapter is once again teaming up with The Commons for the organization’s annual, nationwide Shave-a-Thon, celebrating the event’s sixth and most anticipated year yet with both the La Mesa and El Cajon Police Departments attending to shave their heads in support. San Diegans will converge on the downtown hotspot on Saturday, March 1 to shave their heads in the name of generating awareness, funding research for childhood cancer, and continuing to help survivors live long and healthy lives.
The St. Baldrick’s Shave-a-Thon begins at 12 PM on March 1 at The Commons in Downtown San Diego’s Gaslamp Quarter. Head shaving will commence at 12:30 PM provided by salon sponsor, The Factory. A $10 donation at the door provides admission to the event and complimentary tray-passed appetizers and drink specials. A $20 donation at the door includes complimentary appetizers, drink specials, T-shirt and raffle ticket. 100% of the proceeds from the afternoon will go directly to St. Baldrick's Foundation.
