What’s your morning ritual? The first thing I do when I’m still in bed is ask myself, ‘What am I grateful for?’ This starts the day in a mindset of gratitude. Then I do my morning meditation and ‘innercise’—mental and emotional techniques that help me focus on my goals and dreams.
Fasting. Yes or no? Yes, I fast intermittently several times a week, as well as do a seven-day intermittent fast twice a year. Research points to it being extremely healthy to elongate telomeres, regulate numerous bodily functions and improve overall health.
Top tip for someone seeking a more balanced lifestyle? Start with something that you will really enjoy and that you are committed to sticking to for at least 100 days to develop the habit.
Wellness philosophy? If you don’t make time for your health, your illness will make time for you.
