Caviar is a salty-sweet delicacy loved around the world. Whether your mouth waters at the mention of the specialty or you’ve never tried it, why not indulge in the famous dish?

National Caviar Day is July 18, and restaurants around San Diego are prepared to celebrate. Serea (1500 Orange Avenue, Coronado) is serving up Fugu Del cocktails, only available on July 18. The delight is made with Beluga platinum vodka, Marcona almond orgeat syrup, lemon, and 2006 Dom Perignon champagne, served in a hand-blown blowfish glass with a bump of caviar on the side. The cocktail is priced at $150.

Gaslamp Quarter favorite Lionfish (435 Fifth Avenue) is also offering swoon-worthy caviar specials for the holiday. To celebrate, the restaurant is offering a shot of Belvedere vodka and a bump of California white sturgeon caviar for July 18 only. The special is priced at $30.
