Bernardo Winery has been producing wine in San Diego since 1889 and it keeps getting better. Family-owned, Bernardo Winery has a tasting room for guests to try wines by the glass or bottle, as well as their own kitchen with traditional Italian fare. Opening the doors to Koi Zen Cellars in 2015, Lisa and Darius Miller sourced their fruit from where it grows best and brought it into the winery to make their top-tier wine that has been beloved ever since. Buying the property in 2002, Rusty planted a small orchard while raising his two sons. It was not until 18 years later that Rusty and his partner Kerri opened the Rustic Ridge winery where they planted many wine grapes and pomegranates. An oceanside outpost for San Pasqual Winery, the Seaport Village Tasting Room is a beautiful place for wine with a side of sea breezes. The owners decided to open the tasting room to offer a unique tasting experience that allows visitors to enjoy their vino while overlooking the San Diego Bay.
