Yogis and slow-food fans mark your calendars for Saturday, Aug. 31, when culinary tour and event experts Epicurean San Diego are holding their biannual yoga brunch at Wild Willow Farm. Get a glow on with an all-levels Vinyasa practice led by Honey Yoga before strolling the fields of the 6-acre site and learning about Wild Willow’s sustainable and regenerative farming practices—the latter of which focuses on growing nutrient dense food by building healthy soil full of living organisms. Sample freshly picked seasonal produce—tomatoes, cucumbers, strawberries and herbs, like sage and verbena, are plentiful this time of year. Next, sit down to an alfresco brunch of dishes created by local chef Christina Ng (of Chinitas Pies) and sip the latest small-batch teas from Bootstrap Kombucha.
