CJ Charles Jewelers & Panerai Boutique La Jolla celebrated Patek Philippe at its flagship store.
THE PARTY
CJ Charles Jewelers had plenty of reasons to ring in 2017 in style, thanks to the retailer’s recent addition of luxe watch brand Patek Philippe to its impressive repertoire. Man-of-the-hour and store owner Vahid Moradi welcomed personal friends, guests and colleagues to his boutique for an evening of festivities with gems of all hues twinkling among attendees.
THE SCENE
Sisters Britt and Gretchen Hackmann of lifestyle blog Nubry modeled pieces from CJ Charles’ newest Rivière collection, including a 26.98-carat multicolor diamond necklace. VIP attendees Gustavo Romero and Gustavo Romero Jr., Gaylene and Kleanthis Xanthopoulos, and John Kimmel also toasted the La Jolla outpost, which is now more than 30 years young.
THE HIGHLIGHTS
Eddie V’s provided delectable hors d’oeuvres while partygoers flocked to catch a glimpse of Patek Philippe’s latest timepieces. The evening preceded another soiree this past February—an exclusive CJ Charles + Patek Philippe dinner showcasing rare timepieces. Good times, indeed. -kalah siegel
