Stranger Things-themed cocktail at Cerveza Jack's
For the first time since 2019, Comic-Con returns to the San Diego Convention Center for a weekend of autographs, awards, and meets & greets. Experience the once-in-a-lifetime convention from Thursday, July 21 to Sunday, July 24.

Since 1970, the convention has been the center of the world of comics, artists, movies, and fans. The event takes place in the giant Exhibit Hall, filling up the entire 460,000 square feet with booths, people, and programming.
Comic-Con boasts an impressive programming schedule, featuring hundreds of separate events including comic signings, hands-on workshops, the famed Will Eisner Comic Industry Awards, a masquerade costume competition, and a graphic art display.

Known for its Baja-style coastal cuisine, Blind Burro will be offering themed specials, including Comic-Con-inspired cocktails and mocktails. For $22, try The Deck’s Boba Fett Basil Tatooin-arita, made with tequila, orange liqueur, lime juice, and mango and blackberry boba, and served with a souvenir Boba Fett keychain.

Cerveza Jack’s, a Southern cuisine eatery and bar, has created a Stranger Things-inspired menu. From an array of themed cocktails, enjoy the tequila-based Mouthbreather Margarita, mixed with honey syrup and lime juice, and The Upside Down, a vodka cocktail with lime juice, ginger beer, blackberries, sage leaves, and Upside Down-themed sparkles.

The casual backyard BBQ restaurant will be offering cocktail specials to ring in Comic-Con’s arrival and is also serving from a Stranger Things-inspired menu. Try the Demogorgon, mixed with Uncle Ed’s dragon berry vodka, cranberry juice, triple sec, and lime, for $11.

To celebrate Comic-Con’s return, San-Diego-based craft brewery Societe is partnering with Southern California Comics. For a night commemorating the iconic Comic-Con, stop by Societe’s brewing and tasting room for themed beer can designs, comic book release, movie screening, and plenty of craft beer on Wednesday, July 20 at 4:00 p.m.
