“I think men’s skincare is an afterthought for large companies—they treat it like women’s skincare and don’t take into account that guys don’t understand it at all,” explains Dan Farris, who recently launched Modrn Man, a male-focused line that features products for anti-aging, acne treatment and sensitive skin. “My primary customers are guys like [me] who are [now] more health-conscious and want something that will help them look better,” he says. “I want Modrn Man to be the first stop for men who don’t have a current routine but are finally looking to take care of their skin.” Speaking of stops, here the S.D. local lets us in on his favorite spots in town.
