A lifelong passion for fashion turned into a career for Dean Hall (deanhallstyle.com)when he got his start in wardrobe styling nearly a decade ago on VH1’s Basketball Wives, which led to styling opportunities with scripted and reality TV stars from shows including Glee, The Real Housewives of Orange County and WAGS. Hall has also served as a frequent on-air fashion expert and commentator for local TV and radio. Current projects include creating a men’s style guide that will be released in the fall and developing the curriculum for a fashion styling course.
In three words, I would describe my style as daring, tailored, relaxed.
The first item of clothing I ever bought for myself was Louis Vuitton sneakers, which I had to save up for for a month.
I would love to learn more about cooking.
My earliest style memory is my pink and blue striped OshKosh B’gosh overalls when I was in kindergarten. I wanted to wear them every day.
My style hero is definitely Pharrell.
My perfect day is sleeping in and watching Frasier reruns.
If I had three wishes, I would wish for world peace, the entire 2020 Saint Laurent Men’s collection and to have dinner with Bernard Arnault.
Balenciaga is my favorite shoe designer.
My style philosophy is have fun and don’t overthink it.
