Del Mar Highlands Town Center Holidays

| December 3, 2015 | Parties

Del Mar Highlands Town Center’s 8th annual community holiday celebration Wednesday featured a spectacular laser light show complete with falling snow and an appearance by St. Nick himself! Thanks to the generosity of the community, Marines representingToys for Tots collected over three full boxes of toys during the event.

The center’s ownership, Donahue Schriber, presented $17,000 to local schools as part of their “Save the Arts” program. Since the inception of this program, over $200,000 has been donated in support of the visual, literary and performing arts. The schools participated in the program with choral, dance, art and band performances.

A representative from the San Diego Fire and Rescue Foundation gratefully accepted a contribution from Donahue Schriber and the merchants at Del Mar Highlands Town Center for their efforts to purchase personal escape systems for all local firefighters. The San Diego Police Foundation was also presented with a donation from Donahue Schriber and Del Mar Highlands Town Center for support of the department’s K9 program.
