THE PARTY Welcome to the jungle... The San Diego Natural History Museum went all out for its annual Fossil Ball. THE SCENE Whoever said paleontologists are no fun were dead wrong! On this night, museum patrons partied like rock stars at the gala, held in the Fossil Mysteries exhibit, which was filled with Jurassic d├ęcor. Lush palm trees and dinosaur topiaries created a downright prehistoric backdrop. The Tijuana Dogs played a rollicking show, prompting partygoers to dance until the wee hours. THE HIGHLIGHTS Celebrating his 20th year as president, Mick Hager was presented with original artwork by renowned Fossil Mysteries muralist William Stout. Photography by Vincent Andrunas
