Following a memorable summer season, Del Mar is back for another month of world-class Thoroughbred racing, starting Thursday, October 31st. And for two days – Friday, November 1st and Saturday, November 2nd – racing’s elite global competitors return to Del Mar for the Breeders’ Cup World Championships. (The Breeders’ Cup is a separate ticketed event. For information, please visit breederscup.com.)

It all started back in 1937 when Bing Crosby welcomed the very first race fans to Del Mar. Little did he realize he was kicking off a tradition that has become one of San Diego’s most popular annual attractions for 87 years. Each fall, we honor that tradition with the running of the Bing Crosby Season – five weeks of spectacular Thoroughbred racing at the seaside oval.

2024 is highlighted with popular events and activities during Del Mar’s fall season. Enjoy the ultimate Del Mar experience with Taste of the Turf Club every Sunday starting November 10th. Enjoy a creative, locally-inspired menu with a million dollar view. Tickets include one daily Turf Club admission, seat and program, plus a three-course brunch with bottomless Mimosas or Bloody Mary’s until Race 6.

Uncorked is back with its Derby Days Wine Fest on Saturday, November 9th. Enjoy over 100 wines and champagnes, live races from Cabana West, music, local favorite food trucks and more. This ticketed event is for ages 21 & up only.

On Saturday, November 23rd, Del Mar presents the Beer & Cider Fest. It’s a free trackside event where you can purchase wristbands for tastings of a wide variety of delicious adult beverages.

Family Fun Day is Friday, November 29th where there are free activities for the whole family including an obstacle course, rock climbing wall, pumpkin jump, face painting and more. Free admission for kids 17 and under with a parent or guardian.

Every Friday, all Seniors ages 62 and up get free admission, a free program and a free seat. And speaking of “free”, every Sunday is Free & Fun for everyone. Receive free Stretch run admission, program, seat and 40% off 16 oz. Michelob ULTRA, Brandt Beef hot dogs and sodas at concession stands every Sunday throughout the season.

Saturday and Sunday, you can come to the track and not miss any of the action of College and NFL Football. Watch NFL Red Zone and featured games in select venues each weekend.
