Treat Dad to a day of fun during The Laundry Pub's Father's Day Beer Garden. Beginning at 2 p.m., groove to a live DJ, followed by a live band and an incredible collection of cars at the Classic Car Show. Once your group has worked up an appetite, head into the Laundry Pub for specials, including smoked carnitas tacos, a Sonoran hot dog with crispy bacon and onions, guacamole with chicharron and cold glasses of beer.

Take Father’s Day afloat this year with the help of Flagship Cruises. Spend the morning dining on a classic brunch, sipping beer and listening to live music. Or, later in the evening, head out on the sunset dinner cruise serving short rib and shrimp scampi—the perfect way to say “thank you” to Dad!
On both Saturday and Sunday of Father’s Day weekend, Mister A's is hosting a rooftop lobster cookout for a good cause—benefiting the nonprofit public Monarch School and its families. Executive chef Stephane Voitzwinkler will greet guests with grilled goods over the San Diego skyline, including lobster in Cajun lemongrass broth, Manila clams, hearty red potatoes, sausage, egg dishes and delicious coffee ganache beignets. Be sure to stay for the music!

Indulge Dad in an upscale steak dinner this Father’s Day. Coronado’s Stake Chophouse & Bar welcomes Dads to dine on delicacies such as a 30-day dry-aged prime tomahawk, melt-in-your-mouth lobster mashed potatoes and a “Dadhattan,” a spin on the Manhattan featuring Eagle Rare 10-year bourbon.

Pendry San Diego is celebrating Dads on all fronts. At both the sophisticated Provisional Kitchen and laidback Nason’s Beer Hall, executive chef Brandon Sloan is plating up a specialty 20-ounce bone-in Creekstone steak smothered in garlic and peppercorn that will guarantee leftovers for later. Be sure to toast to the special day with Pendry Woodford Barrel Reserve Old Fashioneds!

Sprawled across 265 acres in North County, Rancho Bernardo Inn is the perfect place for a Father’s Day cookout and friendly golf competition. Bring the whole family to the Inn’s Aragon Lawn for an all-inclusive barbecue lunch, craft beer and a Whiskeys of the World tasting. If Dad is up for it, continue the afternoon on the golf course for more on-par celebrating.

We all know Dads love good, old-fashioned home cooking. Why not let the Michelin-recognized Paradisaea take the reins? At this La Jolla hot spot, chef Jeff Armstrong will dish out a three-course prix-fixe menu featuring housemade honey sausage, a grilled-to-perfection tomahawk and summery sides that Pops is sure to love.
This seaside park is taking the wheel this Father’s Day with its 11th annual Car Show, featuring over 100 classic vehicles. While Dad peruses the muscle cars and racing machines, grab him a beer on tap—served out of a vintage Chevy—before treating him to a ride on the wooden rollercoaster, the Giant Dipper. We hope he isn’t afraid of heights!
