Local foodies flocked to Modern Luxury San Diego’s annual culinary event.

Gourmands, chefs and S.D.’s social set came out to celebrate the city’s restaurant scene at Modern Luxury San Diego’s annual To Dine For soiree. Held at celeb-chef Brian Malarkey’s Torrey Pines eatery, Farmer & The Seahorse, the foodcentric event featured dishes and drinks from some of the most notable restos in town, including Lena Craft Mexican and JRDN | Tower 23.

Prior to tasting popular bites like Rancho Valencia’s lobster with a stone fruit carpaccio, guests including Jennifer Cosco and Chris Martino were treated to an exclusive whiskey tasting from Beam Suntory. The outdoor venue was outfitted with beach-chic lounge furniture from Archive Rentals, and an impressive “To Dine For” marquee lit DJ Cheyenne Giles, who played today’s hottest pop hits.

As always, the photobooth proved to be the center of attention. Partygoers lined up for a chance to snap a spirited, Instagram-worthy photo inside a vintage Camper—deemed the Camera Camper—which was outfitted with funny props. Documenting a stellar party never looked so good! ‒Meg McGuire
