THE PARTY Event chair Audrey Ratner joined with Mingei International Museum to host Bazaar Under the Stars—a spirited fete that featured an exotic market of arts and crafts, and benefited the folk art museum’s annual exhibitions and K-12 education programs. THE SCENE Guests Erin Svalstad, Barbara Zobell and Bettina Hahn Osborne perused the market’s 15 vendors and picked up items like one-of-a-kind jewelry, African masks, Cambodian silk scarves and more. THE HIGHLIGHTS Following the shopping spree, partygoers enjoyed international fare from Fox’s Master Chef winner Claudia Sandoval. While the raw bar was certainly a hit, light bites including a vegan yam tostada with a black bean puree and salsa; lamb kofta skewers with tzatziki; and mini beef and red chile tamales were fan favorites.
