CJ Charles Jewelers owner Vahid Moradi hosted an exclusive gathering at his home highlighting Patek Philippe’s coveted collection.

THE PARTY La Jolla’s premier jewelry house, CJ Charles, celebrated the addition of a new designer to its roster of high-end brands: Patek Philippe, whose reputable watches are much coveted. To mark the occasion, CJ Charles owner Vahid Moradi threw an epic gathering at his estate, attended by VIPs including Larry Pettinelli, president of Patek Philippe.

THE SCENE Local tastemakers also included Andrew and Ari Canter, Gaylene and Kleanthis Xanthopoulos, and Donnie and Kathryn Edwards.

THE HIGHLIGHTS After a cozy sit-down meal prepared by Jeffrey Strauss of Pamplemousse Grille, guests enjoyed music provided by a violinist and a butterfly harpist; the latter plucked long strings emanating from large butterfly-shaped wings and spanning out over the guests. Of course, the main attraction was the Patek Philippe Basel 2017 Collection, including the elegant 5524G model. Looks like now’s the time to get a watch! -Kalah Siegel
