THE PARTY In its fourth year, the signature event was en fuego at The Crosby, with 700 VIPs coming out to the sprawling Rancho Santa Fe property. THE SCENE On this magical evening, 17 of San Diego’s top chefs were paired with visionary designers, providing the ultimate tabletop inspiration. Roche Bobois joined forces with The Westgate for an oh-so-French pairing (their scallops were the hit of the night). Meanwhile, Kris Lajeskie brought coastal flair—and a huge peacock—to her table with L’Auberge Del Mar, which was slinging some serious sliders. And Esteban Interiors did rustic-modern right for Avant’s lavish spread. Guests noshed their way around the clubhouse, sipping inventive cocktails from Pick & Rocks. There was even a Stella Artois bar on a putting green, courtesy of Pacific Sotheby, and desserts from Waters Fine Foods & Catering. THE HIGHLIGHTS Hoehn Motors provided ample inspiration with a lineup of all the latest ride candy. Most wanted? The Porsche Panamera Turbo and Mercedes-Benz CLA. And hats off to Panache Productions for pulling off one of the most delectably decadent evenings in recent memory. Photography by Jeff Corrigan
