Hello, Darling

| April 7, 2016 | Parties

Paging Holly Golightly. Guests were channeling Audrey Hepburn’s iconic film character for the second annual Breakfast at Tiffany’s. Draped in pearls and decked out in little black dresses, ladies flocked to La V for the charitable brunch, which supports Miracle Babies, the San Diego nonprofit dedicated to assisting families with ill newborns in need.

Miracle Babies co-founders, the always charming Dr. Sean Daneshmand and his wife, Marjan Daneshmand, were working the crowd; committee chair Susanne Rohrbaugh helmed the glitzy affair.

After mimosas on the mezzanine, keynote speaker Wendy Walker—donning Chanel and black leather gloves—dazzled the crowed with insider tales of life as a powerhouse CNN executive producer (see Modern Luxury San Diego’s exclusive story on the ABC pilot based on Walker’s life on page 28). The frosting on the Tiffany blue cake? In addition to a special happy birthday rendition to Walker, the event grossed $100,000. Here’s to collective wishes coming true for do-gooding. -Photography by Robin L Wood
