Open just in time for summer and perfectly situated on the Embarcadero, Hilton San Diego Bayfront has unveiled its newest restaurant – Hudson & Nash.
True to its Californian roots, the restaurant features large bay-front windows and laid-back, coastal-inspired decor. The restaurant serves up easily shareable small plates, perfect for family-style dining with your table. Soak up all of that California culture with the restaurant’s curated menu of local dishes.

"The menu is meant to reflect all types of California fare – highlighting the state's culinary diversity – from Baja to the Bay Area," said Steve Cowan, general manager, Hilton San Diego Bayfront. "Ultimately, we wanted the dishes to deepen the quintessential coastal, rustic experience that San Diego provides."
All of the dishes are crafted using locally sourced, seasonal, and sustainable ingredients from local purveyors including Sage Mountain Farm, Swanson Vineyards, Spinaca Farms, and Pizza Port. Honey used in both menu items and cocktails is harvested from the hotel’s Bayfront Bees program.
Standout dinner items include Aguachile Rojo with Baja shrimp, tortilla chips, cucumber, charred habanero, and avocado; the Barrio Logan Pizza topped with chicken tinga, chipotle japaeño and pickled red onions; and Parker House Rolls topped with the hotel’s honey.
The restaurant also serves breakfast and lunch, with standout items including the California burrito, avocado toast, and the seafood cobb salad. The menu also features options for vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free diners.
There’s a particularly excellent beverage program that pays homage to California staples. The drink menu features coastal-inspired cocktails, wines from California, San Diego craft beers, and over 24 draft beers on tap, all brewed right here in San Diego. In addition, there are a number of non-alcoholic beverages using tasty, fresh, local fruit.
Hilton San Diego Bayfront has been recently renovated and has a number of new amenities. Earlier this year, the hotel unveiled The Pointe, a completely reimagined event space. There’s also The Cannery Market & Supply market where guests can purchase candles and soap made from the hotel’s resident bee hives.
