After honing their skills at J.Crew, Coach, Williams-Sonoma and Lucky Brand, Dave DeMattei and Patrick Wade have teamed up to open Mood Indigo. A style-forward home decor and accessories boutique, the La Jolla shop invites San Diegans to discover a coastal-inspired collection of art, lighting, books, candles, tableware and gifts. Art by Hugo Guinness, Mary Maguire and Chad Van Herpe inspires, while pieces from Casa Lopez, Juliska, Tensira and Montes Doggets showcase the pair’s eclectic approach. “We are excited to become part of the La Jolla community,” says Wade of the Bird Rock store, where vintage wares live alongside new offerings. “We feel this is the perfect setting for the Mood Indigo brand which is all about California-casual style for your home.”
