The Party
The 13th annual San Diego Film Festival rolled into town for nearly a week’s worth of high-wattage screenings and one evening of star-studded, red-carpet glamour at La Jolla’s MCASD.

The Players
At the Filmmaker Tribute, Alan Arkin accepted the inaugural Gregory Peck Award and mugged at the VIP Chairman’s Reception with Beau Bridges. During the week, actor Josh Duhamel attended a screening of his film You’re Not You, also starring Hilary Swank.

The Scene
Fans and stars alike (including Alison Pill and Michelle Monaghan, who attended the Tribute awards) couldn’t say enough about Reese Witherspoon’s film Wild, which opened the festival, or Benedict Cumberbatch’s performance in The Imitation Game, which also screened.
