Whimsy awaits in Little Italy at the new Wolfie’s Carousel Bar, an homage to German craftsman Charles I.D. Loof (aka Wolfie) and his handcarved carousels. A symphony of Japanese flavors sing at Matsu, a new fine dining concept in Oceanside from chef William Eick. Handcrafted furnishings come courtesy of local artisan Chapman Cochran, where diners can settle in to experience Eick’s exquisite dishes highlighted by katsuobushi (fermented skipjack tuna), gold spot bass and wild boar.
