Nordstrom's Annual Designer Preview at Landmark Aviation

| April 28, 2011 | Parties

The Scene: S.D.’s most fashion-forward ladies ogled spring’s looks—and one another’s Louboutins—at Landmark Aviation’s airport hangar. The annual Nordstrom fashion preview is one of S.D.’s biggest fĂȘtes, and this year did not disappoint. The Players: More than 300 guests were wowed by the setup, which eschewed a humdrum runway in favor of a neon-lit stage where models moved robotically before taking a prance about. The Fashion: Designers included Oscar, Stella, D&G, Versace and Lanvin. Per usual, Marni was made for women who examine one another; no man would be looking at these outfits. And Lanvin? Obvious show-stealer, proving the one-shoulder is here to stay. Proceeds from the sold-out event benefited The New Children’s Museum.
