The Party
The new Central Library celebrated its one-year anniversary with a huge celebration. And rightly so, considering the Orchid-winning building has altered the skyline and become a city monument.

The Players
Architect Rob Wellington Quigley, chairs Katie and Dan Sullivan, Judith Harris, Robert Singer, Mayor Kevin Faulconer and Deborah Szekely

The Scene
The literary-themed progressive party, aptly dubbed Under the Dome, was capped off with alfresco cocktails and sushi. The San Diego Pubic Library Foundation raised more than $500,000 toward innovative programs that go beyond the shelf life. –Photography by Tim Hardy,
