THE PARTY For its fifth annual gala, the PEERS Network honored the Challenged Athletes Foundation with a sold-out fete that raised $335,000 to help disabled individuals succeed through sports. THE PLAYER Basketball legend Bill Walton and professional skateboarder Tony Hawk shared the limelight with several CAF athletes, with several of the athletes decked out in jewels by S.D. designer K. Brunini. THE SCENE Lisa and Steve Altman’s La Jolla Farms residence provided prime sunset-watching opportunities for guests as they mingled and dined at gourmet food stations from Giuseppe Fine Catering, Beaumont’s Eatery and Cusp.
