Hugo Volpino’s debut three-piece collection is perfect for the jet-setting, gala-attending socialite in all of us. Each bag is designed in San Diego and handcrafted through close collaboration in Florence, Italy, with supple calfskin leather and beautiful hardware. As for where to wear them? The chic Danielle crossbody is the perfect day-to-night bag, while the Isabella tote’s contemporary design and brilliant lines make it an everyday staple. For the crème de la crème, the Sofia bracelet bag, inspired by a little black dress and pearls, is ready for her gala debut and has the words “Lasciati Amare” (Italian for “let yourself be loved”) embossed on the inside. When asked why the bag is a limited edition, Creative Director Vanessa Herbert put it simply: “An art connoisseur told me the bag was ‘a work of art,’ and so, as with fine works of art, Sofia, too, is something special to hold.” We can all agree on that.
