On June 25, help legendary Coronado eatery Primavera Ristorante commemorate its 30th anniversary with a festive five-course dinner benefiting 22KILL. The Italian eatery was founded by husband-and-wife duo Cristos and Jeannette Stavros in 1989 and is now run by Jeannette and the couple’s daughter, Denise. “My father and mother built a loyal following for Primavera through treating our guests like family while making dinner out an occasion to savor, just as it is in Italy,” says Denise. “Those principles have been our own recipe for success throughout the years.” Guests will enjoy authentic Italian eats like calamari Luciana, risotto alla punta di asparagi and filetto al pepe verde, among other mouthwatering options. A portion of the evening’s proceeds will be donated to 22KILL, a nonprofit organization dedicated to raising awareness and combating suicide among veterans, first responders and their families. Anniversary menu $85 per person, 932 Orange Ave., Coronado, 619.435.0454
