With sweeping city views and picturesque sunsets, not to mention seemingly perfect weather year-round, San Diego is a hot spot for outdoor hangouts. Launched last year, Rooftop Cinema Club San Diego quickly became the newest buzzworthy outdoor hangout, offering locals a unique film-viewing experience. Hosted on the popular Manchester Grand Hyatt rooftop, the Rooftop Cinema Club transforms the two-hour,popcorn-in-a-dark-theater movie night into a full-blown evening experience with cozy lounge chairs and blankets, customized headsets and HD-quality videos.A few hours before the show, guests can nosh on light bites and sip festively named cocktails, like Tropic Thunder, Mean Girl or Clint Eastwood (all takes on traditional cocktails) before cult classics like Grease (June 3) and The Godfather (June 16) or tempting new releases—we’ll definitely be at Bohemian Rhapsody (June 7, 18 and 29) and A Star is Born (June 9 and 20)—are projected on the big screen. With just over 200 seats available, the shows sell out fast, so whether you’re looking for a night out with friends (we recommend going to best friend’s day) or a romantic date night, be sure to get your tickets soon. Rooftop season is officially underway! Doors open at 6:30pm, show starts at 8:30pm
