UP IN SMOKE Indulge your burning desires with help from San Diego-based brand March and Ash. After opening its debut retail outpost in Mission Valley in 2018, the cannabis-focused business is expanding with two new locations in Chula Vista and Imperial Beach, where shoppers can browse its high-end selection of cartridges, edibles, concentrates, tinctures, topicals and more. Furry friends can also get in on the action as the brand carries San Diego’s largest line of CBD products for animals. Further, the brand partners with local animal shelters and rescue groups, including The Animal Pad, plus San Diego City College to educate students on the cannabis industry through its Business of Cannabis course taught by Dr. Leroy Brady. Igniting a movement, indeed. marchandash.com

SEE Experience the works of locally based artist Kelsey Overstreet through Oct. 10 at Sparks Gallery in downtown San Diego. Th e new exhibition, titled Th e Way We Move, features 56 pieces that explore how the movement between people and objects can define the identity of themselves and others. “I want people to engage with the work and feel both activated and calm. I want people to live with work that intentionally creates sacred space,” says Overstreet of the exhibition. “I want the paintings to evolve over time and the viewer to continually discover new things the longer they live with or view the work. I want the work to change the environment it lives in.” Now, that’s art and soul. sparksgallery.com
