Director and choreographer Bob Fosse’s hit 1978 musical Dancin’ is reimagined by director Wayne Cilento, who starred in the original Broadway production. Making its West Coast premiere, Aging Magician is an opera-theater hybrid show that combines opera, choral music and puppetry, produced by the innovative Beth Morrison Projects and featuring Brooklyn Youth Chorus. The story of a clockmaker who plays the accordion and is penning a book called The Aging Magician, it’s a meditation on legacies and the magic of everyday life.
