Local style icon Mahjuba Levine knows a thing or two about fashion. Here, the personal stylist shares how she keeps her life looking oh so chic.
After years as a personal shopper for a corporate luxury retailer, Mahjuba Levine decided it was time to venture out on her own. “I took a big chance and left the retailer with one client back in 2001,” says the San Diego resident. Since then, the fashion mogul has been doling out SoCal-centric style advice to her affluent clientele, which she remains tight-lipped about (“no styling and telling around here!” she adds). From personal styling, shopping and closet editing to creating virtual look books and color analysis, the 25-year industry vet is an ace at helping others dress to impress. Taking cues from her fashion icon, Kelly Wearstler, Levine can be found sporting a chic caftan—her go-to for a night out—with a fabulous bag and pair of heels in tow. Most recently, Levine ramped up her online presence, offering virtual closet sessions for her curated client list. Here, the maven shares a few of her fashion, travel and design favorites. @mahjubastylist
