The Party Voices for Children hosted its signature benefit party, Starry Starry Night, at the brand-new Rancho Valencia Resort. After its $30 million remodel, the resort was a twinkling Mediterranean-inspired paradise ideal for this society set.The Scene The sold-out affair attracted 400 guests for an alfresco dinner by Executive Chef Eric Bauer. Think striped sea bass and roasted top sirloin coulotte steak. Blues guitarist Coco Montoya, one of the original band members of John Mayall and the Bluesbreakers, played a 90-minuteset to cap the evening. Then late-night partygoers retired to the rustic-cool Pony Bar for drinks and dancing to the jazzy music of the Soultones.The Highlights Paddles flew during the live auction as guests spiritedly bid for vacations in hot spots like Jackson Hole and Maui, as well as a trip to the 2013 Masters Golf Tournament in Augusta.
