Table Manners

| April 29, 2016 | Parties National

THE PARTY
It’s not every day we get to say that the ladies of Rancho Santa Fe did some serious heavy lifting, but that’s just because the Rancho Santa Fe Community Center spring luncheon, where guests create over-the-top tables, happens but once a year. The event, held at the Rancho Santa Fe Garden Club, benefits the nonprofit, which provides after-school programs.

THE GUESTS
Board President Molly Wohlford, guest speaker Kelly Emberg and PR powerhouse Jamie Lynn Sigler.

THE HIGHLIGHTS
Guests vote on each of the tables—and come dressed to match the theme. The winners? The Kardashian table—replete with a Caitlyn Jenner lookalike—earned most amusing; most unexpected went to the Problems of Rancho Santa Fe table, a riff on how the community lives in a bubble. And Enchanted Woodlands earned most elegant, thanks to the tireless Brooke Russell, who for months gathered felled branches to create the magical setting and matching head wreathes. In the end, it was the crowning glory. -Photography by J.Dixx
