THE PARTY Schubach Aviation, San Diego’s luxurious private air charter firm, is floating on cloud nine after celebrating the grand opening of its 45,000-square-foot headquarters at McClellan Airport. With the excitement of Schubach’s upcoming 20th anniversary in the air, 250 guests bonded over bubbly and bites. THE PLAYERS The event was hosted by Schubach Aviation along with Ritz-Carlton Destination Club, Laura Barry of Barry Estates and Maria Barry of Le Dimora. Proceeds from a silent auction benefited the Jammer Foundation, dedicated to supporting San Diego’s disadvantaged youth. THE HIGHLIGHTS Guests toured several of Schubach Aviation’s luxury aircraft, including a Challenger 601-1A, Citation CJ3 and an immaculate Gulfstream G-IVSP. Meanwhile, Symbolic Motors premiered a brand-new Lamborghini, Rolls-Royce, two Bentleys and a Bugatti. Now those are some wheels. Photography by Jeff Corrigan
