Taste of The Pointe

A group of 100 friends and influencers got together for Modern Luxury San Diego’s Taste of The Pointe at Westfield UTC to sample some of the dining destination’s newest and best offerings.

THE PARTY On April 12, San Diego influencers, gourmands and friends of Modern Luxury San Diego gathered to sample delicious dishes from Westfield UTC’s restaurants at The Pointe. The crowd, divided among several smaller groups, dined under market lights and among beautiful floral arrangements, moving among three locations and ending the evening together at Larsen’s. THE GUESTS The party of 100 people included local influencers Joanne and Dr. Steve Laverson, Dan Negroni, Tracee Cahill, and Dana and Dan Wilcox. THE HIGHLIGHTS No one left hungry: The night’s delicious stars included sliders, Alsatian pizza and seared ahi spoons at The Winery; spicy tuna and yuzu salmon poke bowls at Sweetfin; and honey lemonade, bourbon strawberry smashes and market-fresh crudités with tzatziki and black-olive dip at True Food Kitchen. The night ended with the crowd assembled at Larsen’s Steakhouse for their incredible butter cake and wine, and a toast from publisher Jessica Cline. -Andrea Bennett
