THE PARTY The Center for Community Solutions hosted its 13th annual Tea on the Town at the San Diego Marriott Mission Valley. THE HIGHLIGHT Emmy-nominated actress, author and advocate Meredith Baxter delivered the keynote speech. The event also honored locals, including abuse survivor and advocate Elizabeth Klein. THE SCENE Prior to the tea, Champagne was served at a poolside reception and book signing of Baxter’s new memoir, Breaking Family Ties: Empowering Ourselves to Overcome Domestic Violence.
