THE PARTY Guests sparkled at the Hotel del Coronado for the 103rd Charity Ball, themed “Spectacular San Diego.” The ball, dating back to 1909, is part of the city’s social fabric. The Scene The hotel’s iconic Crown Ballroom, aglow in blue, purple and green lights, held a farm-to-table feast. The sound of the Swing Cats Orchestra filled the Grand Ballroom, where the crowd danced until midnight. The cause The affair raised more than $260,000 to benefit the Rady Children’s Trauma Care Center at the Sam S. and Rose Stein Emergency Care Center. Photography by Vincent Andrunas
