Lined with large windows, the bright, open restaurant is great for conversation over a cocktail.
Paying tribute to San Diego swimming legend Florence Chadwick, newly opened eatery The Florence is a 10,000-square-foot restaurant, cocktail bar and cafe. Decorated in a coastal theme of subdubed blues, grays and browns with memorabilia honoring the ’50s legend, and boasting an incredible 2-acre outdoor space with intimate fire pits, a regulation-sized bocce ball court, a covered “boat shack” dining room and chic, beach resort-style seating throughout, the eatery is an ideal place to grab happy hour drinks or relax with the whole family on the weekends. The real star of the show here is the locally sourced menu driven by partner and executive chef Ricardo Heredia (Alchemy), a 2014 World Food Champion alumnus. Sounds like the perfect way to spend a lazy summer afternoon to us! 13480 Evening Creek Drive N., Ste. 150, 858.433.1545
