The Stair Climb is a one-of-a-kind San Diego event which honors our heroes and the lives we lost on 9-11. The event benefits the families of firefighters who have been affected by Line-of-Duty-Death and Injury both here in San Diego and in New York through the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation. Participants each climb with the name and photograph of a firefighter or police officer killed in the twin towers, and climb 110 floors - the same number as in the Twin Towers. After the climb there's a community festival and artisan beer garden with live entertainment and family fun to create a spirit of healing and triumph.
You can help by signing up as a climber, event volunteer, sponsor, or by making a tax-deductible donation.
