While Jack Frost isn't exactly nipping at our noses here in sunny San Diego, these five festive attractions will transform the holiday season into a winter wonderland.

1. The Del’s Skating By The Sea The iconic hotel’s Windsor Lawn will treat guests to ice skating with primo views of the Pacific (the sandy shore is mere steps away). 2. Balboa Park December Nights Entering its 39th year, this festival will host nearly 350,000 people Dec. 2 and 3. The outdoor event includes myriad pop-up shops and performances from the S.D. 3. Little Italy Tree Lighting & Christmas Village Dec. 3, head to Piazza Basilone to marvel at the Christmas tree—a 25-foot tower of more than 1,000 poinsettias. 4. The San Diego Symphony’s Noel Noel Noel Noel will get even the grumpiest Grinch into the spirit of the season thanks to the symphony’s talented musicians. 5. Rancho Bernardo Inn December Days and Nights Nothing says family fun quite like light shows and photos with Kris Kringle. The true icing on the Christmas cookie?
