Valentine’s Day is fast approaching and we’re here to help you prepare for the holiday with ample time to spare. This year, the holiday will fall on Tuesday, Feb. 14, and we’ve rounded up some fabulous Valentine’s Day dinner specials. From luxe prix fixe menus to love-themed entrees, San Diego certainly seems ready for love!

1540 Camino Del Mar, Del Mar / Website
Visit this luxe resort for a memorable multi-course dinner and wine pairing. While the menu specifics are yet to be announced, the dinner will be priced at $165 per person and the optional wine pairing will be priced at $55 per person. Reservations can be made here.

Indulge in a four-course dinner at art-deco-inspired spot, Animae. Start off your meal with mantou bread service, followed by menu highlights like beef tartare, tuna crudo, lamb chops, soy-braised short rib, mushroom ragu, and matcha mochi cake for dessert. The Estancia La Jolla will host two special fine dining events in honor of Valentine’s Day this year. On Saturday, Feb. 11 the hotel will host a star-lit ‘Sweethearts & Symphony’ prix fixe dinner. Guests will sit in the garden and enjoy live music, bottomless sparkling wine, and a luxe four-course dinner, featuring lobster ‘cappuccino’, beet or beef carpaccio, a monkfish or cauliflower entree, and a red velvet carajillo for dessert. The hotel’s on-site restaurant, Greenfinch Restaurant & Bar, will host a Valentine’s Day dinner with four courses. On the menu, enjoy Baja Kumiai oysters, potato and lobster chowder, a filet or cauliflower steak, and dessert. Dinner is priced at $90 per person and reservations can be made here.
