The San Diego Museum of Art (sdmart.org) may be closed at present, but you can engage in some at-home art appreciation through its mobile app, which provides content in multiple languages about works of art in the museum’s permanent collection and rotating exhibitions, allowing you to take a virtual tour of the museum while hearing audio clips about the works shown. The museum’s YouTube channel is another great way to experience past programming and art from home, including guest lectures, live recordings from the San Diego Opera and San Diego Youth Symphony, as well as ArtStop episodes, featuring short clips in which the museum’s curators comment on works of art.
